Oiva Toikka Bird

Oiva Toikka was one of the greatest Finnish ceramics and glass designers in the 20th century. He was artistic director of Nuutjaravi and his best known product is the glass birds that appeared in 1973.

The Blue Bird "Sinuska" has a curvy and expressive shape. Made from hand-blown glass, the bird has a distinct character and numerous color variations. This model was designed in 1991 as part of the "Birds" (Linnut) line.
