Capalbio vase

From the IVV archives it can be seen that this was the first vase made by the Tuscan glass factory, in 1952, the year of its birth. The opportunity arose when the newborn IVV was invited to participate in an exhibition of hand-blown glass objects, which took place in Capalbio, precisely in 1952 and which was attended by Italian and international glassmakers. IVV presented this vase in two dimensions and, after this appearance, deliberately did not put it into production, to underline the iconicity of the first piece. The 70th anniversary of glassware is the best way to introduce it and tell its story. The original colors have been reproduced as faithfully as possible,
