The "Dot Pattern" featured on Vitra's Eames Wool Blanket was created in 1947 in conjunction with an exhibition at the Museum of Modern Art in New York. The large-scale composition of lines and cross-stitches is reminiscent of Ray Eames' abstract paintings of the 1930s.
