Vitra's Corniches arose from the need for small improvised storage spaces for miscellaneous items. "In the same way that we hang our belongings on a rock that protects itself from a cliff before diving into the sea, we need a little informal storage in everyday life too", explains Ronan Bouroullec. And that's why Corniches are not regular shelves or simple horizontal surfaces, but isolated and individual projections in the environments we create.


Whether as a key ring next to the front door, a place to put everything we need within reach in the bathroom, a display surface for a small collection of objects or as a large installation, the Corniches are a new way of using walls in our living spaces.

After receipt of the returned item and the respective verification, the amount paid will be refunded in the same way in which the payment was made.
