Based on the original Taraxacum created in 1960, the Taraxacum 88 reflects an update to the iconic 1988 design and includes a mix of deep incandescent lighting and fresh, polished aluminum triangles.

Designed by the master Achille Castiglioni, the Taraxacum 88 (model S1) features 20 equilateral triangles in pressed and polished aluminum equipped with electrical outlets. The sockets are filled with 60 25-watt clear globe light bulbs, invoking the blossoming of a dandelion. The pendant light provides direct and reflected incandescent light. The finish is transparent.

An update on the Castiglioni brothers' famous creation from the 1960s, Achille Castiglioni designed this piece for"community areas, lobbies and rooms that need lots of light for special occasions"without sacrificing style and beauty.
