This elegant and bold floor lamp, designed by Philippe Starck, is part of the artist's Guns Collection designed in 2005, making a statement while doing good. "Design is my weapon," says Starck, who donates 20% of the collection's sales to Frères des Hommes, a charitable organization dedicated to the abolition of poverty around the world.
The body is made of die-cast aluminum and features a polymer casing with a black dimmer mounted on the black fabric of the two-pole power cord. This piece uses a medium matte incandescent lamp, which provides direct reading and ambient lighting.
