(The timeless Daruma lamp, whose design was created by Sergio Asti for Fontana Arte in 1968, is a simple, elegant and fun piece. Divided by a base and cover, the Daruma consists of two domes joined together - the white glass diffuses the soft light throughout the lamp and the surrounding area.On display at MoMA in New York, Daruma is a pearl of mid-20th century Italian design, with its distinctive character making it an excellent component of a modern interior.
